I’ll try and be brief!

I am a textile artist who mostly spins, weaves and stitches. I’ve also have been designing and making hats and other fashion items for over 20 years. These are all available under my brand label Cut Out Doll.  I’ve worked as a costume designer for TV, Theatre, film, and carnival, and have facilitated art workshops for many, many community groups and organisations!

I’m passionate about fashion and textile history, and I visit different groups to tell stories and sing traditional songs; I also give talks and demonstrations. 

Nowadays I work from my home studio where I create all manner of yarny, stitchy things.
